Winston: So Lovable!'s Story

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE WINSTON!

Winston was having a terribly hard life when we were contacted about his plight. He'd obviously been living rough for quite some time; he was dirty, matted, underweight and had an injured eye. Unneutered cats have a tough time with all the fighting and injuries, on top of all the other hardships of having to fend for themselves. When he finds the loving home he's been searching for so long, he'll be the happiest boy ever!
We really don't know how old Winston is, but we think somewhere in middle age. His teeth are shiny white pearls, polished by the bones of the rodents who have been making up the majority of his diet. He does seem to be an experienced kitty, having roamed the countryside for only he knows how long. We think he's a Norwegian Forest Cat cross, since he certainly has the looks and temperament. He has of course been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and is box trained. We think he'll do best as an only kitty, since other cats are intimidated by his size and tend to pick on him. As friendly and lovable as he can be, he'll be a wonderful companion to the lucky family who welcomes him home.
Here's what Linda, his foster Mom, who knows him best, has to say about him:

Winston is a big, smart boy with a gentle soul a huge heart. He wants to please his special people, but the comforts of love, warmth and compassion are new and surprising to him. He loves to be brushed daily as it provides comfort that he was deprived of in his prior life. He is so easy to please and appreciates the simplest terms of affection. It took him 2 weeks to finally sleep in his comfy bed; it was so foreign to him. Now he knows what it means to be loved. He calls for you when he craves more attention or just wants to be close. He is vocal, expressing his joy when he gets to be next to his person, his favorite place to be, his happy place. He needs a home where he can start making up for all the love he's missed during the dark days that are finally behind him. He will be your best friend forever.
To meet this sweetheart, please fill out an adoption application using this link: https://pawsitiveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. His $70 adoption fee will bring him home to you forever!
