Winston Charles's Story

I came to the MCSPCA from a different NJ shelter to get the best chance at a forever family. Unfortunately, we don’t know anything about my history before getting to that shelter… so I’m choosing to focus on the future instead of the past.<br/><br/>I am a timid, 7-year-old dude who needs a quiet place to live out the rest of my life. Loud noises and fast movements are scary to me right now, but with gentle pets and some sweet-talking, I soften up quickly. I would do best in an adult-only home, with humans that will let me settle in at my own pace.<br/><br/>I’m not sure if I would get along with other kitties yet – I might benefit from having someone show me the ropes, but who’s to say? Either way, I can’t wait to meet you and show you how Winston can Win you over!

Monmouth County SPCA's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are welcome to visit our public adoption floor. If they see a pet they are interested in, they fill out a survey on-site and then meet with an adoption counselor. The adoption counselor goes over the pet's information and if deemed an appropriate match, the adopter meets the pet. If all goes well, the pet can be taken home same day if medically cleared.
