Winnie's Story

Winnie is a beautiful tortie-tabby girl who is approximately one year old, and after a difficult start in life, she is more than ready to find the furever home she deserves.

Winnie was rescued alongside another cat after being abandoned in an apartment and left to fend for themselves. With no one coming back for them, they survived by getting into packages of Ramen noodles. Thankfully, a kind neighbor heard their cries and sprang into action, reaching out to The Pittsburgh Paw Project for help. And just like that, Winnie’s next chapter began.

Despite everything she’s been through, Winnie is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl. Her favorite past time is napping, and you’ll often find her perched at the very top of the cat tree, peacefully snoozing away. But there’s one thing that can make Winnie abandoned in her favorite spot pretty quickly - her person lying down.

That’s Winnie’s cue! She’ll come right over, curl up beside you, turn on her wonderfully deep purr and settle in for some serious cuddle time. She even gives her person the sweetest gentlest kisses When she’s especially excited about getting attention, Winnie makes the most adorable little chirps and meows, as though she simply has to tell you how happy she is.

Winnie loves everyone - cats, dogs, kids, men (especially men) and women - and would make an excellent addition to any family. She would also equally thrive being an only cat and getting all the attention as well.

And did we mention how gorgeous she is? Winnie is a stunning tortie-tabby with truly beautiful, one of a kind markings. But as pretty as she is on the outside, it’s her gentle, loving purrsonality that will win you over.

Winnie has already learned what it means to go without a home. Now we’d love for her to learn what it feels like to have one furever. Please give this sweet girl a chance and we promise you won’t be disappointed!!
