Winnie's Story

Winnie is a sweet, chatty girl looking for her forever family! She has endless energy to play, will always tell you what's on her mind, and loves nothing more than to sleep on her person's chest or cuddle up next to you on the couch. She is what we call a 'velcro cat', and loves to just follow you around the house and hang out all the time.

Winnie is a resilient girl with the biggest heart, despite having had a tough go of it outdoors. She came to BFF rescue with her sister, whom she loved so much. They were joined at the hip and Winnie loved to lay on top of her sister and make biscuits on her. Unfortunately, soon after they were rescued Winnie's sister became gravely ill and passed away. Winnie loved her until the very end. Winnie is a little anxious given her recent loss and takes comfort spending time with her people! She does not get along with other cats, though this may improve as she adjusts to life in her forever home. Despite her tough start, Winnie has so much love to give to her person and has the energy and whimsy of a kitten.

Winnie would do best as an only cat with an adopter who spends a good amount of time at home, since her favorite thing to do is hang out with her person! She has so much love and affection to give her person and is ready to be your best friend!

Winnie is approximately 1-2 years, old, spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV and up-to-date on her vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting her, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Our Mission
Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed...
