Winnie's Story

COURTESY POST - Winnie Available for Adoption

Winnie is an 8-year-old spayed female. Healthy and ready for her forever home, shes up to date on all vaccinations, flea treated, dewormed, and has tested negative for both FIV and FeLV.

This sweet girl was found outside in Boston in March, heartbreakingly thin and clearly having a hard time surviving on her own. Despite everything shed been through, Winnie wasted no time showing us what a loving, trusting cat she is. She greeted her rescuers with gentle affection and has been winning hearts ever since.

Winnie can be quite the Velcro cat as she absolutely loves hugs, pets, evening snuggle sessions and following her person around. She is quite playful but can keep herself occupied with some toys and gentle zoomies. While she likes to chat with her people, her soft little meows are charming rather than constant. She will jump up onto the bed to snuggle but generally she enjoys life from the floor.

She gets along well with other cats who share her laid-back outlook on life, and we think shed also do well with calm, respectful dogs and cat-savvy children. Her dream home is a cozy one where she can spend her afternoons napping in a sunny spot and her evenings curled up next to her favorite humans.

Winnie is being fostered in Medford while she waits for her forever home.

Winnie is approximately 8 years old, spayed, negative for FeLV and FIV, and up-to-date on all her shots. If you are interested in meeting her, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org

Our Mission
Boston streets are flooded with homeless cats and kittens. Some were abandoned, while others are feral (offspring of those abandoned cats.) We are the Feral Cat Warriors who fight to help them survive every single day. Our aim is to ensure that feral cats have a stable and safe shelters, food and medical attention as needed...
