Willy's Story

Nine-month-old Willy would be a definite contender in a World's Cutest Kitten contest. Willy was one of over 20 cats gotten out of a rather appalling hoarding situation. We know he's a Maine coon mix because his mother was also a Maine coon mix, although his fur is more thick than it is long. True to his ancestry, he's well on his way to being a BIG boy. He already has a huge personality. Like most cats, he would do best in a very interactive home in which he will get lots of play and is not left unaccompanied for long hours. We know he gets along very well with other cats and thrives in their presence, so he must be adopted into the home of someone who already has at least one other cat. We have not observed him with dogs or kids, but he seems likely to do well with both, as long as they know how to be respectful toward a cat. Willy seems like an easy cat who would be suitable for the home of the right first-time adopter.

He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. His adopter will receive his medical records. He’s being fostered in Boston. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee of $295, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. Cats can live past 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps rescuers match cats with the right adopters. Including your phone number increases the likelihood of a quick response.
.
