Willow's Story

Meet Willow, a sweet 1-year-old domestic shorthair tortie-and-white girl who is ready to steal your heart! Originally found charming everyone outside a storefront in Peralta, it is completely obvious this talkative girl was once deeply loved. Willow is a certified "lover-girl" who expresses her absolute joy by rolling around for attention and running as fast as her legs can carry her the second wet food is served. She has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but please don't let that intimidate you; it is simply a small detail of who she is, not a definition of her health! FIV+ cats can live long, happy, and robust lives just like any other feline companion, and because the virus is typically only spread through deep, aggressive bite wounds, she can safely live with non-FIV roommates. We encourage you to chat with your vet to see just how easy it is to care for her, or drop by the adoption center to read our helpful informational write-up on FIV+ kitties. Willow would absolutely love to meet you, and you can visit her today at the PetSmart located on Academy and Wyoming. Please note that PACA only adopts to the Albuquerque Metro Area.
