They are approximately 5 months old.<br/><br/>Willow is a short hair black kitten who loves to snuggle and get pets, play with string toys, and climb the cat tree. Her favorite things include any and all treats, especially Churu, and Da Bee, a big toy bee on a wire. <br/><br/>Xander is a short hair orange tabby kitten who likes to spend his time sleeping in dens, looking out the window, and chasing his sister’s tail. He can’t get enough of Churu treats and his catnip filled rainbow mouse.<br/><br/>Together, they make an adorable pair, ready for the spooky season. These two are both still getting used to living indoors and being around people. <br/><br/>While Willow has come out of her shell and confidently snuggles and asks for pets, Xander is still working on his “tough guy” persona. He is more nervous than Willow, and can get startled easily. He may hiss, but that is his way of expressing his fear. He is still learning to enjoy pets and human contact, and will need some extra time to get used to a new owner. <br/><br/>Observing Willow loving on her foster parents has helped Xander become more comfortable. Patient persistence with Xander is the key. While you’re letting him take his time, Willow will be happy to eat all your treats, get all the pets, and purr up a storm. <br/><br/>What Willow and Xander are looking for in a home:<br/><br/> - They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.<br/> - They’re new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous. <br/> - They’ll need extra time and TLC to build trust. <br/> - They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment.<br/> - They need to live indoors only.<br/> - They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.<br/> - They have no known history with dogs.<br/> - They have no known history with children.<br/><br/>All Alley Cat Project’s cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:<br/><br/> - $200 per cat or kitten<br/> - $350 for pair of cats or kittens<br/> - $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)<br/> - Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care<br/> - Adjustable fee upon request for adopters who are low income, and seniors, disabled, or others with fixed incomes. <br/> - Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts<br/><br/>Thank you for your interest in Willow and Xander!
