Willow and Hazel (BONDED PAIR)'s Story
**PLEASE EMAIL paws@dnv.org TO REQUEST AN ADOPTION APPLICATION!**

Meet Hazel & Willow!

These two beautiful young girls came to the DNV Shelter due to no fault of their own and have sadly been through a lot in their young age. Hazel (mainly tabby) and Willow (mostly white) are two of the sweetest and most loving cats we have had the pleasure of having here!

Although the girls were quite shy when they first came into our care, they have absolutely blossomed into two outgoing, affectionate, and curious cats. They adore being petted, picked up, and will climb on your lap immediately upon anybody sitting down. The girls will actually run full speed towards the door once it opens, meowing and chirping to say hello! They are then immediately rubbing their soft cheeks against you and starting to purr. They love full body pets and behind-the-ear scratches and will even flop over onto their sides (don't worry - they won't scratch if you give them a gentle belly rub!).

Hazel and Willow will fit in well in most homes (as long as they are not TOO busy and chaotic) and would likely adapt to a cat-savvy dog that can respect their space and quiet natures. They love to look out the window, watch the birds, and take lots of naps, snuggling up together! Their new home will need to keep them safely indoors at all times and be prepared to spoil them like crazy. Their new family will also need to be committed to them for the rest of their days, as they have already been passed through way too many homes!

Please consider offering these young girls their forever home. They are very bonded and love each other so much and we know they have so much more love to give their new family! There are many benefits to having two cats that can provide each other with social interaction and exercise including less chances of destructive behaviour and double the affection.

Both Hazel and Willow have a clean bill of health and are spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and have been treated for fleas and parasites.
