Hi! I am William! I have quite the story to tell you! A very kind lady saw me in the middle of a busy highway and quickly scooped me up and brought me to safety. How I got there remains to be unknown. I came to the shelter sick, with gunky eyes and a bad upper respiratory infection. My shelter family went to work quickly and got me better! My eye is still healing though and it may be cloudy permanently - that part remains to be unknown. Hopefully in time, it will clear up but time will tell. <br/><br/>I will be neutered soon and I am up to date on my age appropriate vaccines. I was tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia and am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes a home where I can get lots of love but also be able to exist and do my own thing. I also want to go play and be curious about the world around me. My family will need to keep me safe because it is not clear if I have any visual impairment or not. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home with kids who understand boundaries.<br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and lots of pets and love.<br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
