Willard's Story

Meet Wiiard, the Big, Handsome Boy

At just 1-2 years old and already a solid 13 pounds, this stunning brown tabby is all kitten at heart just in a much bigger package. He's playful, goofy, and full of life, the kind of cat who will keep you laughing with his antics and then crash nearby like the oversized baby he truly is.

His story hasn't been easy. He came to us after being dumped and, heartbreakingly, shot at! Our vet had to remove a pellet from his neck. Through it all, he has remained incredibly loving and resilient. He does have a small cosmetic change to one eye from that trauma, but it doesn't affect his vision, comfort, or quality of life one bit. It simply makes him a little more unique and a reminder of just how much he's overcome.

What he wants now is simple: a safe home, lots of toys, and someone who will see him for the amazing, affectionate boy he is. He absolutely thrives on play and would do best with a feline friend close to his age and energy level (with a proper, slow introduction, of course). He's looking for a buddy to wrestle with, chase toys with, and grow up alongside.

This big boy has survived more than he ever should have but his spirit is pure joy. Now he's ready for the life he's always deserved: one filled with love, comfort, and endless playtime.
