Wiley's Story

Meet Wiley! This handsome boy is approximately 9 months old. Wiley showed up on a rural property where a kind family took him in and contacted us for help. Wiley is a high energy young cat that needs a young active feline playmate. He loves his cat tree, springs, balls, catnip mice, wand toys and likes to play ninja in his tunnel - flipping it across the floor. He loves watching the critters and birds outside and he will make you laugh when he jumps into the bathtub when he hears the water running!

When Wiley is tired out and wants attention, he will jump up and lie on his foster parents' laps.
The 4 middle aged cats in his foster home are still adjusting to his playful energy. He wants to be with them but they are not too sure about him. Wiley is still learning cat manners from them and doing well.

Wiley would likely be ok with older children who will play with him and as a young cat would likely adjust to a cat savvy dog.

Wiley has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for this endearing character, contact us here, email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com or fill out an application at www.heartstohomes.ca. The adoption fee is $250.

Hearts to Homes Feline Rescue & Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process includes an interview, an agreement with a reference and we deliver the cat(s). We have two big asks that form part of the agreement – 1) that you agree not to declaw and 2) that you agree not to let the cat roam free outdoors. Please note that for kittens, we look for them to be adopted into a home with another active, playful cat or to be adopted in pairs. We have found that kittens do best developmentally with feline companionship. When adopting, we ask adopters to consider the following: 1. consider the time commitment; cats live 15 - 20 years; 2. consider the financial commitment of food, litter, annual veterinary care; 3. if renting, ensure the acceptability of pets to your landlord; 4. commit to keeping the cat safe and commit to not de-clawing.
