Wiggles's Story

Wiggles is a mastermind of all that is good. What I mean that is, she knows what it is like to be dumped and left for dead, because she was.

This feathery-soft little girl was dumped in the hills out in Shelton, a tiny kitten, no way to know where anything is, deaf, and afflicted with vestibular ataxia, a condition in cats that affects their balance and coordination (much like cerebellar hypoplasia, but of the inner ear not the brain) she miraculously made her way into a good Samaritan's garage where she was found running in circles.

When Wiggles made it here at Critical Care Kitten Coalition, we immediately took her in to have an MRI, which is when we learned about vestibular ataxia. She underwent surgery for it in January 2025, and we have been monitoring her ever since to ensure she was good.

Now, nearly a year later, this incredibly sweet and loving little girl is ready to meet her humans and take claim of her forever home.

If you think you are a purrfect candidate for Wiggles, who is still deaf, by the way, make sure your phone number is listed in PetFinder, Complete an Interest Card, and visit our website, https://criticalcarekittencoalition.org, to complete our Match-Making Application.

All our kitties have been spayed or neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Adoption fee: $125

NOTE: Any and all medical history documentation will be provided at time of adoption.

When Wiggles made it here at Critical Care Kitten Coalition, we immediately took her in to have an MRI, which is when we learned about vestibular ataxia. She underwent surgery for it in January 2025, and we have been monitoring her ever since to ensure she was good.

Critical Care Kitten Coalition's Adoption Policy
We require our Match-Making application to be completed and submitted to the email address listed on the application. If we only receive the PetFinder interest info, we will respond requesting our application. Because our emails tend to be routed to the Spam folder, we depend on potential clients having their phone number listed in PetFinder. Otherwise, we scrap the interest card after 3 weeks. We have a five-stage adoption process: Stage 1: We must receive our adoption application, completed in full and signed Stage 2: If all looks good, a phone interview will be conducted where we will get to know each other a bit more and we might establish an appointment Stage 3: Pay a nonrefundable fee to meet the kitties. It's $30 for one person, $50 for two or more. This fee is paid through our website under Save A Kitten. If there's a match, the Meet and Greet fee will be deducted from the adoption fee (Note: Do not pay this until after the phone interview). Stage 4: Once payment is received, you will receive a text with our address as confirmation of the appointment, and Stage 5: Meeting the adoptable kitties. (Questions are strongly encouraged, but because who you come here for may not be who you adopt, please wait to ask questions until you are here)
