Wicket's Story

This beautiful tortoiseshell is Wicket. She was the most cuddly kitten we’ve fostered- and even though she’s becoming more independent (typical teen) she still loves lots of attention and pets between her active play sessions.

She also loves to play with toys and chase her fellow foster cats in her foster home (Lenny, Carl, and Munchkin “Munchie”).

The minute you reach for Wicket, she purrs immediately. She purrs so readily and so loud that when she had her exam prior to spay, the vet tec had to wait for her to stop so she could listen to her heart! Fortunately Wicket eventually had to swallow and paused purring long enough to get a clean bill of health!

Since Wicket is so young, she would do best in a home where she could have a feline buddy that would match her energy level. We would ideally like to adopt her as a pair with Munchkin “Munchie” (see photo)

Please reach out to find out how you can arrange to meet her in person!

To connect directly with Wicket's foster family, please email or text Elizabeth at 310-489-2514 or salusfeliscati@gmail.com.

The Purrfect Catch Foundation's Adoption Policy
We meet with all potential adopters in person asking them questions about where they live (rent or own), if renting that they have landlord approval for a pet, who they'd use for vacation and vet care, what they would do if they could no longer keep the feline, inquire about past pets. The Purrfect Catch uses a foster to adopt process to help confirm it's a 100% love match with both the humans and any existing household animals. We have a 100% return policy at any time. We also view the person's online presence and do a Zoom/FaceTime meeting to so their home. We do an adoption fair on Saturday's at the San Mateo Pet Club on Norfolk from noon-3 p.m.
