Wick's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

Meet Wick! Wick is one year old and is a social guy who thrives on two things - cuddle time and playtime! Wick loves active playtime sessions - running, jumping, and leaping to get out all that kitten-like energy. Whether he’s zooming after a toy or wrestling with his siblings, Wick is always happy! After a good play session, Wick is more than happy to settle in for cuddles with his favourite people. He's a sweet, loving boy who forms strong bonds with his humans and enjoys being close by for affection and reassurance. While loud or sudden noises can make him a little nervous, he doesn’t hide away for too long. He will come running straight back to his trusted humans for comfort and reassurance. Wick has always had the company of other kittens and a small dog, and he MUST have another young cat or dog in his forever home. Sometimes his excitement and big feelings can lead him to become overstimulated, and he can play roughly with the other cats. Because of this, it would be great if he could be adopted with one of his siblings – Ferrero or Almond, who he already knows and trusts.

Wick was found as a kitten from someone giving kittens away for free. At the time of his rescue, he was the only remaining kitten. He was fostered with a kitten litter just a little bit older than him, and he learned how to cat, grow and thrive.

Wick has so much love to give and will make an incredible cuddly companion for the perfect family. If you’re looking for a young, energetic, cuddly orange boy – Wick just might be your guy!

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first come, first served.
