Whimsy's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Whimsy! Whimsy

was born in rescue after her mama was found living outside as a stray. Whimsy and her siblings have been raised indoors and have grown up around other cats and even a rabbit.

Whimsy is full of personality and keeps life in the foster room entertaining. She is a busy, energetic kitten who always wants to know what’s going on and is usually the first to investigate anything new. Whether she’s climbing, chasing toys, or bouncing after her siblings, Whimsy approaches everything with enthusiasm and curiosity. She loves interactive play and would thrive in a home that can keep up with her playful spirit. Like most young kittens, she would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so her ideal home will already have another cat or will be interested in adopting her with one of her siblings.

Whimsy has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. She is being fostered in Akron, OH, and was born on March 11, 2026.

Whimsy's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), spay surgery, age-appropriate feline leukemia and FVRCP vaccines, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip.

Whimsy will still need her rabies vaccine when she is about 4 months old. If adopted with one of her siblings, the adoption fee for the pair is $150. Her littermates are Winona, Wolfie, Wilson, Wisp, and Windy.

Please note: Whimsy’s spay surgery is scheduled for June 1st, and she should be ready to go home with her new family around the weekend of June 5th. Approved applicants are welcome to meet her before June 1st and may sign an adoption contract to place her on hold until after her surgery.

For those viewing on Petfinder, please apply by clicking “More About Rose’s Rescue,” where you can complete an adoption application. You may also apply directly through the Rose’s Rescue website at

www.rosesrescue.net

under “Fees - Adoption Info - Online Application.”

Thank you for considering adoption - our adoptable cats can’t wait to meet you!
