Wendy's Story

Wendy is a beautiful long-haired black & white tuxedo cat! We believe she is approximately 6-7 years old. She is an affectionate girl who loves to play and eat treats! She loves human attention and has a sassy side to her as well😊She was rescued from Rochester city streets, where she lived a good portion of her life. So we can understand why she appreciates her alone time. She has also grown to enjoy the indoor life and is enjoying her time warm and snuggled in her cat beds!

While she does love the affection of her foster mom (who is also in love with her), she does not like her furry brothers and sisters. Because of this, Wendy needs to be an only cat and would prefer a home without dogs as well. She may do OK in a home with older children over 15.

Wendy is spayed, parasite treated, has age appropriate vaccinations, tested negative for both FeLV and FIV and micro chipped. After being in rescue for some time, it was discovered that she had some dental issues. After two dentals, she is now pain-free AND no longer has any teeth in her mouth. This does NOT stop her from eating at all - she prefers her canned food, but does eat dry food without an issue as well.

If you would like to adopt Wendy, please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/

Or click the about us tab on this page and continue to our Adoption Application.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION:

I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.

PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit.

1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,
3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt.
4) If you would like to meet one of our cats please submit an application at https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-form/

Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/carolsferalsny
