Wednesday

This chatty little bobtail is Wednesday! Wednesday is a perky, friendly kitty who always has something to say. She's full of pep and zest. She loves giving hugs to our volunteers and rubbing cheeks with them. Her favorite thing in the world is to be splayed over our left shoulder - always the left, never the right, and if you put her on the right, she'll let you hear about it! Wednesday is extremely vocal and has a loud, scratchy meow. It often sounds like she's yelling, but really she is just making sure we hear her! <br/><br/>Wednesday is very affectionate and people-oriented. When we're done cleaning, she will always find the nearest lap and plop into it (though really she has her eyes on that left shoulder, she always ends up there eventually). If one of us is in the office with the door closed, she'll sit outside and make sure we know she wants in. She thinks she's quite the office cat - she always makes sure to "help" us fill out paperwork or type. If you want a cat who will make you smile and keep you entertained, Wednesday is your girl.<br/><br/>Unfortunately, Wednesday was bullied by another cat in her previous home, so she can be wary of new kitties. As long as they're friendly, she'll get used to them eventually, but she won't seek them out for companionship, and would really prefer a home without them. We think she would be fine with gentle children. She has not been tested with dogs.<br/><br/>Wednesday is 11 years old as of August 2026. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Unfortunately, Wednesday was bullied by another cat in her previous home, so she can be wary of new kitties. As long as they're friendly, she'll get used to them eventually, but she won't seek them out for companionship, and would really prefer a home without them.
