Wednesday's Story

Meet Wednesday!

Wednesday is a young cat who was abandoned while pregnant. Despite being just a kitten herself, she raised four kittens and was the best little mom anyone could ask for. Now it's Wednesday's turn to find her forever home.

Wednesday is an extra-small, long-haired black cat with bright yellow eyes and adorable white patches on her chest and belly. She has the shortest little legs and a uniquely bent tail, which may have been caused by an old injury or could simply be a genetic quirk.

Her personality is calm, gentle, and thoughtful. Wednesday prefers to observe and read the room before joining in, especially when guests visit. Once she feels comfortable, she is a wonderful companion. One of her favorite things in the world is being brushed. She will actually reach out and touch the brush, then look at you to let you know she's ready for more!

Wednesday eats dry Science Diet cat food and seems to prefer it over canned food. She also enjoys Temptations treats as a special snack.

Her house manners are excellent. Wednesday reliably uses the litter box and has never marked or gone outside the box. She enjoys scratching a cat tree and sisal scratching surfaces. While she hasn't quite figured out cat teaser toys yet, she may discover the fun with a little time and encouragement.

Wednesday is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and in good health.

She currently lives with several other cats and an older dog. She is tolerant of the dog and has never tried to scratch her, even when the dog gets a little pushy. Wednesday has also been around children ages 4 and up and has never scratched or bitten anyone.

Wednesday would thrive in a home with calm, respectful children and other pets. She is a sweet, easygoing little cat looking for a family that will give her the love and security she deserves.

Could Wednesday be the missing piece of your family?
