Weaver's Story
From his foster mom, Holly:
Weaver is a quiet, low-maintenance boy with a very sweet personality once he feels safe and comfortable. He can be shy at first, but with a little patience, he becomes incredibly affectionate and loves being near his person.

One of my favorite things about him is his purr. The second you start petting him, it kicks on full force and sounds like a little motorboat.

Weaver enjoys calm spaces where he can relax and observe what’s going on around him. A cozy cat tree near a window would probably be his dream setup. He’s perfectly happy hanging out nearby, enjoying attention when he’s in the mood, and then lounging peacefully on his own.

He gets along well with other calm cats and respectful dogs, but he would also do just fine as the only pet in the home.

Weaver was rescued from a difficult feeder/breeder situation along with 15 other kittens. All of the others have already found homes, and now it’s finally Weaver’s turn.

As a kitten, he had a severe eye infection that required surgery, which left some light scarring on one eyelid. His eye may occasionally need a quick wipe with a cotton ball, but otherwise it doesn’t slow him down at all.

I think Weaver would do best in a quieter home with someone patient who understands that shy cats often become the most rewarding companions once they trust you. He should also do well with older children.

Weaver is such a gentle, easy companion, and once you hear that motorboat purr going, it’s hard not to fall in love with him.

Born 4/15/2025

At Meowtown, we don’t have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are. They just need a house.

If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
