Weasley's Story

I am looking for a home with a patient person.
I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

A volunteer writes: Weasley's been trying to keep up with the shelter days that seem to simultaneously come on fast while and stretch out before him. His snout looks like the cutest Rorschach test ever, but he had no interest in entertaining my ideas (for the record, I see a forever home). This is more than fair but we still like to at least try to say hello and offer some treats, maybe some pets if he'd like, but this isn't really Weasley's style. Weasley came to us from a home with many other cats and very limited experience meeting new people. This makes shelter life a considerable challenge and snuggled up in the back of his cubby, the effort it takes for him to decompress is written all over his little kitty face. He'd love the chance to figure out who he is and wants to be in a safe and loving environment, so please come and meet Weasley at the Staten Island Care Center. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 10.625lbs Age: 3yrs 1mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
