Weasel's Story

Meet Weasel! Weasel is a sweet little love-bug of boy who wants nothing more than a sweet person to cuddle up with him. Despite being small, he will be the first to let you know when he wants food or attention, but don't worry he'll be respectful if you aren't quite awake yet or have to do a cat-free activity. He loves curling up in a soft blanket, watching cat games on the TV, snuggling, and exploring wherever he can, as long as you're nearby of course. It won't be long after meeting him that he "weasels" his way into your heart.

His foster says "Weasel is the sweetest, most loving boy ever!! he is so snuggly and purrs and make biscuits on you very gently as soon as you walk in the room! He likes to be held like a baby and throws himself down on the ground for pets so hard that you can hear the wind getting knocked out of him. His one motivation in life is to receive as much love as possible!"

**Medical Disclosure:** Weasel has a long-term history of ongoing stomach and intestinal inflammation, which may be consistent with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and he may have food sensitivities. Tests of his intestines confirmed ongoing inflammation but did not show any cancer. His condition has improved with treatment, but he still has soft stools and may need a special diet, medication, and regular veterinary check-ups.

Weasel also has mild, ongoing nasal congestion and occasional upper-airway noise, but he does not currently have nasal discharge or abnormal lung sounds.

Adopters should be prepared for the possibility of continued medical care, dietary management, medication, and veterinary followup. Treatment plans and costs can vary between veterinarians, so we recommend contacting your personal veterinarian prior to adoption to discuss Weasel's medical history and get a general idea of potential ongoing care and expenses
