Wayne & Pennie's Story

Wayne was found in a small patch of bushes next to the I5 freeway in Chula Vista. Pennie was roaming the San Diego High School campus all alone. Neither of them had a good life and there were coyotes everywhere. When we brought them together, they bonded instantly and their tails intertwined! We were elated. Soulmates forever. They're kind and gentle, have had all of their medical services. Pennie has all of the required dental work done. Once a potential adopter sees a post on an available a cat or kitten, we do an initial phone call, send them an application, schedule a phone or in person interview. If approved, they receive adoption counseling, They can visit the kitten of their choice, and if all works out, they take their cat home. We keep in touch with our adopters and offer microchip registration in case a cat is ever lost.

Our mission is to provide specialty services for San Diego community cats. Five divisions have been created: 1. TNR services 2. Rescue and adoption 3. Community outreach and education 4. Feral cat sanctuary 5. Shelter and rescue partnerships to house cats temporarily as needed
