Wasabi's Story

Meet Wasabi!

With a spicy name and a gentle heart, Wasabi is the quiet thinker of his litter. He prefers to observe from a cozy spot before deciding to join in on the action. Shy and reserved at first, Wasabi takes his time to feel safe — but once you’ve earned his trust, he’ll gladly accept gentle pets and reward you with a soft, grateful purr. It’s his subtle way of saying thank you for your patience and care.

Wasabi isn’t the most playful of his siblings, but he enjoys watching their antics and occasionally joins the fun in his calm, thoughtful way. He eats well, uses the litter box perfectly, and brings a peaceful, grounding energy to any room.

Ideal home: A calm and patient environment where Wasabi can come out of his shell at his own pace. He’s perfect for someone who appreciates quiet companionship and the special bond that comes from earning a shy cat’s trust.

Wasabi and his littermates have received two rounds of dewormer, their first FVRCP vaccine, and are due for their booster on November 12. Adopters will be expected to bring them to this appointment. Any kitten under four months old will not yet be sterilized (spayed/neutered); however, a sterilization appointment will be scheduled once they are of age.

If you are interested in adopting Wasabi, please email tnr.lapeche@gmail.com
for more information.

---

Voici Wasabi !

At TNR La Pêche, we have a thorough adoption process to ensure that each cat finds a loving and responsible home that meets their needs. Adoption Process: 1. Application Submission – Potential adopters must complete an adoption application, providing details about their home, lifestyle, and experience with pets. 2. Application Review – Our team carefully reviews each application to ensure a good match between the adopter and the cat. 3. Interview & Discussion – We may contact applicants for a follow-up discussion to clarify details and ensure they understand our adoption policies. 4. Home Environment Consideration – We require that all adopted cats live indoors only to ensure their safety and well-being. 5. Meet & Greet – If the application is approved, adopters have the opportunity to meet the cat and ask any questions before finalizing the adoption. 6. Adoption Agreement & Fee – Approved adopters sign an adoption contract agreeing to provide proper care, and they pay an adoption fee that helps cover veterinary expenses. 7. Transition Support – We provide guidance on introducing the cat to their new home and remain available for post-adoption support. Our goal is to ensure the best possible match for both the cat and the adopter, leading to a successful and lifelong adoption.
