Wanda is a petite lady that was in a home with over 20 other cats before coming to the shelter. Since Wanda came from a home with so many other cats she is now searching for a home that has fewer cats and more attention for her. Wanda can be on the timid side but with a home that is willing to be patient with her and give her the time she needs Wanda will thrive with a new family.

Rock Springs Animal Control's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fees are as follows: $80.00 for dogs/puppies of any age $20.00 for any cat over 1 yr of age $40.00 for any cat under 1 yr of age All animals will be spayed or neutered and be up to date on vaccinations before they go to their new homes. We perform all of our adoptions by an application process. This process is to ensure a pet ends up in a forever home as well as ensuring all laws and regulations are being obeyed and that the animal will not be returned to Animal Control due to lack of foresight. You are more than welcome to come down to the shelter during business hours and take a look at the animals we do have. They deserve the chance to have a loving home! We are open from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday (Closed weekends and holidays)

Our Mission

We are the Animal Control facility for the city of Rock Springs and Sweetwater County. The animals displayed may not all be adoptable, some may be on a 5 day stray hold. If you are missing a pet, be sure to give us a call or visit the shelter during business hours.
