Walter's Story

Ten year old Walter was adopted from us when he was a kitten in 2016, but his human is elderly and is now unable to care for him, so Walter found himself back with Dogwood. He was briefly adopted into another loving home, but it didn't work out, so he's back with us.

Walter is a big, sweet, mellow boy at 17 pounds. Because there is a little extra to love about Walter, we'd love for him to be adopted by someone who engages him in regular play to encourage a healthy weight. He's been the only pet in the home, so he could probably adjust to other pets, but may need some patient introductions.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-cats/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
