Walter's Story

Walter showed up at the home of his foster family, and they were unable to find his owner. He's now named Walter and is looking for a new home. He very affectionate and loves pets, snuggles, and making biscuits. He's neutered, vaccinated and is tested negative for FIV/FeLV. We haven't seen him around other pets yet, but he does well for children.<br/><br/>His adoption fee is $100 and you can apply to meet/adopt him here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane SocietyWe do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. *No Out of State Adoptions* Hello, thank you for your interest in adopting from LHS! All of our dogs are in individual foster homes. Please complete the adoption application at the link below. Once received, the foster will contact you via phone or email (please keep an eye on your spam folder) to let you know whether or not they are going to move forward with the adoption process. At that time they can answer any specific questions you may have.
