Meet Walter
Walter & Wiggins are sweet brothers ready to meet the family that will take them home and love them forever.
** Walter & Wiggins are bonded siblings and will only be adopted as a pair. **
Walter & Wiggins are loving, playful, and confident. They enjoy endless hours playing together and they get along well with the other cats and the big dog in their foster home. They enjoy meeting new people.
Walter is a tripod--he's been missing a front leg since birth and he has learned very well how to get along without it. He has a little trouble climbing and jumping, but with some modifications to his cat tree, he can keep up with his brother. (Check the video below to see him navigate to the top of the cat tree with the help of a ramp.)
It will be important to monitor Walter's weight through his lifetime, to make sure he doesn't carry more weight than his three legs can safely carry.
These boys love all kinds of toys and "chase and rassle" games. We would describe their activity level as 9+ on a scale of 10. Eventually their kitten energy will subside, but they will do best in a home that isn’t currently filled with delicate, valuable objects.
When playtime is over, they love cuddling in a warm lap and they will expect to be welcomed to sleep on the bed with the people in their new home.
Walter & Wiggins are about 5 months old. They have been neutered, microchipped, and are up to date on vaccines. They tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $150 for both.
