Walter’s FAQs

What is Friends4PoundPaws, Inc.’s adoption process?

The adoption fee for our cats is $125. This covers the up-to-date vaccinations for the feline and a spay/neuter for kittens. An appointment for spay/neuter will be scheduled during the adoption process for kittens. All of our older cats are already spayed or neutered. If you would like to come into the shelter to meet the kitties up for adoption, feel free to stop in during normal business hours. We are open Tuesday-Friday, 12pm - 4pm. If you are unable to visit during these hours, you can schedule an appointment by contacting us. You can reach us via the Contact Us form on our website (friends4poundpaws.org) , by phone, (315) 842-7297, or by email (friends4poundpaws@gmail.com). To start the adoption process, an application will need to be filled out. You can find an online and PDF version of our application on our website. We are an organization run by volunteers so please understand that it may take us up to a week to get back to you regarding your submitted application. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry friends.
