Wallie's Story

Have you been on the lookout for a sweet as can be adult kitty, who looks like a forever kitten and looks perpetually surprised? That may be a bit of a tall order, but this is your lucky day, as we have a kitty that fits the bill! Wallie has two settings: adorable and mildly shocked. With her enormous green eyes and perpetually surprised expression, she looks like she just found out the treat jar is empty, or that someone said "vet" out loud. Fortunately, her dramatic face only adds to her charm.

This enchanting young lady was brought to us by a kind person who found her as a stray kitty trying to escape the cold weather, and she ended up in his wall! Sweet Wallie has an estimated birthdate of 2/9/20, so she's just about 6 years old. You wouldn't know it by looking at Wallie or by interacting with her, as she seems like she's just a kitten or very young adult.

This funny gal is a social butterfly through and through. While some cats prefer to hang back and observe, Wallie is more likely to be at the front of the cat room welcoming visitors and making sure she doesn't miss any exciting developments. (And by "exciting developments," we mean canned cat food. This girl goes bananas over it!)

Wallie is an absolute doll who loves to give headbutts and snuggles to the people at the shelter. She loves to put her face up against yours and just purr away. She is a very gentle and laid back girl and never makes a fuss about anything. She does like to play also and her favorite toys are mice and anything with feathers. Her most favorite thing though is getting love from her people. Once she gets into her forever home, we know that she will be a complete and total lovebug, and a wonderful sidekick for someone!

As mentioned previously, this little lady also loves canned food and lickable treats, so we're putting in a request on her behalf, that her forever home provide her with those coveted favorites. She has met other kitties since coming to us, and she gets along great with them- in fact she roams freely in our cat room with her feline friends. She would do fine in a home with a feline friend, or as the lone kitty of the home. She hasn't been around dogs since being with us, but she would likely do fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog. Sweet Wallie would likely be just fine with kids too, as she is such a lovable and patient girl.

If you're looking for a cat with a friendly personality and a face that could star in a reaction meme, Wallie may be your perfect match. One look into those giant green eyes, and you'll be wondering what she's so surprised about and smiling every time you do. Please fill out an application and once it's approved, schedule a meet and greet!

West Jefferson, Ohio
#hsmcohio

A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
