Waffles's Story
Waffles is a very sweet 12-year-old declawed male who found himself in a shelter when his family could no longer care for him.<br/><br/>Waffles lived with his former family for 10–11 years. Despite the changes in his life, he remains an extremely sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves being a lap cat. He gets along great with everyone and just wants a cozy place to relax and be loved.<br/><br/>Other pet exposure: Unknown<br/><br/>Waffles does have a few manageable medical needs:<br/>• He is hyperthyroid and will need transdermal medication (he is difficult to pill).<br/>• He is a Herpes Virus cat, which means he sometimes gets clear runny or squinty eyes due to viral conjunctivitis. This is easily treated with Terramycin, and he receives Viralys Lysine in his food along with probiotics.<br/>• He is front declawed, so he will need an indoor-only home.<br/><br/>Waffles is truly a gentle, loving senior who deserves a soft place to land.
