Void's Story

Some cats arrive with a full backstory… and some, like Void, bring a little mystery with them. Recently transferred into care from a Canadian Task Force clinic, we don’t know everything about his past—but we do know he spent time surviving in a cat colony, and he carries a few scars that hint at just how tough that life can be.

These days, Void is ready to trade street life for soft blankets and sunny windows.

This handsome domestic longhair is fully vetted, litter trained, and gets along well with other cats. While he hasn’t been tested with dogs yet, he would do best in a home with older children who understand and respect a cat’s boundaries.

Because Void didn’t grow up with consistent human interaction, he’s still learning the ins and outs of affection. He loves attention and will happily soak up pets—but sometimes he can get a little overstimulated and will let you know he’s had enough with a gentle nip. He’s not being mean—just communicating in the only way he knows how. With time he’ll continue to grow more confident and comfortable.

Underneath all that fluffy black fur is a sweet, affectionate boy with so much love to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a story still being written, Void might just be your perfect match.
