Meet Virginia! <br/>This sweet girl is just an oversized kitten with oodles of energy. She loves to sleep in with her foster mom but once you’re up, she’s right there with you! She’ll follow you to the kitchen, bathroom, back to bed, and everywhere in between. Make sure to watch where you’re stepping! She loves to play with all her toys, especially larger ones that she can do her adorably vicious bunny kicks on! She’s very good at entertaining herself, but once she’s tuckered out she’ll crawl into bed for a cuddle before launching headfirst into the next fun activity. This sweet love bug thrives as the only cat in the house. She loves to use her hands to communicate, and will often reach out to touch something she finds interesting. She loves attention, treats, wet food, and requests you leave just enough space for her in your warm bed at the end of a long day of playing. Since she’s SO playful, she would actually do better with older, respectful children who won’t accidentally rile her up too much.<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in East Hollywood. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
