Violet's Story

Looking for a calm, gentle soul to bring a touch of warmth and tranquility to your life? Meet Violet, a breathtakingly beautiful 7-year-old female orange tabby. True to her lovely name, Violet is a delicate flower who is incredibly sweet once she feels safe, but she is currently looking for a very specific type of environment where she can truly bloom. Because she is naturally shy and hesitant in new surroundings, it is highly important that her furever family is patient and willing to provide her with a small, designated safe room--like a spare bedroom--to help her transition comfortably into her new home. Violet's ideal match is an adult-only, calm, and tranquil household where she can escape the noise of the world and simply be herself. She finds the high energy of children overwhelming, so she is strictly looking for a home with no kids. When it comes to furry roommates, Violet would completely thrive as your one-and-only pampered kitty, but she is also open to sharing her space under the right conditions. She can successfully reside with another non-dominant female cat (no male cats!) who respects her boundaries, and she previously lived with a mellow dog whose low-key company she genuinely enjoyed. If you have a peaceful home and the patience to let this gorgeous golden girl settle in at her own pace, Violet is ready to reward you with a lifetime of gentle devotion. Her adoption fee is $200.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats.
