Violet's Story

Greetings! My name is Violet. I've been with Great Plains SPCA for a while now but I was spending time in a foster home while I was adjusting to my new life but now I'm at the shelter and ready to find my forever home. I've been told that I am a fantastic story teller and will tell you all about my day when I see you. I'm pretty tolerant with being held but I would much prefer to just sit by you and get some pets, maybe even a brush or two! I enjoy the company of toys but I don't play with them too much. When it comes to my manners, I've been known as perfect in all my skills! I have a daily medication that I take very well and as a reward, I enjoy whatever wet food I am given! My foster told me I was a pretty sweet lady and I can't wait to meet you to prove it!

Purrs & Meows
Violet

Disposable masks are available upon request. If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member! Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand. If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member!
