Violet is the little cuddle bug she's the first to come and settle with you and just wants to be held her little motor never stops going. <br/><br/>Humane Society of Davidson County<br/>Physical Address: 1120 Piedmont Dr, Lexington, NC 27295<br/>Mailing Address: PO Box 1791, Lexington, NC 27293<br/>www.humanesocietyofdavidsoncounty.org<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption application here: https://form.jotform.com/203011356002030<br/><br/>OUR ADOPTION PROCESS<br/>1) Submit adoption application and wait for response from volunteer (this may take up to 2 weeks)<br/><br/>2) A volunteer will speak with your veterinarian and make sure that your current and previous pets were cared for appropriately, which includes the following:<br/> a) All current pets in the household are up to date on core vaccinations<br/> b) All cats in the home are FeLV/FIV tested and negative, dogs are heartworm tested and on prevention<br/> c) Current pets have had recent and regular exams with your vet (within the last year and every year since ownership) <br/> d) Any previous animals were seen by your vet regularly (at least every year) and that at the end of their life they were <br/> cared for appropriately according to the veterinarian's recommendation. <br/><br/>3) A volunteer will call your personal reference and discuss your history with pets and how they were taken care of<br/><br/>4) A volunteer will reach out to you and let you know if your application and references were approved<br/><br/>5) If approved, you will schedule a meet and greet with the pet of interest to see if they are what you are looking for and get to know them<br/><br/>6) If you choose to go forward with the adoption, a volunteer will schedule a home visit where your home is evaluated to make sure it is safe for the new pet and that all current pets are in good health<br/><br/>7) As long as the home check goes well, you can take the pet home!<br/><br/>8) Enjoy your new pet and send us updates often, we love happy tails!
