Violet's Story

Meet little miss Violet, a seven month old kitten! She may be small, but she makes up for it with her big personality and endless energy. Mostly white with a few adorable gray spots, Violet is always on the move-running, playing, and exploring alongside her foster sisters.

Curious and sweet, Violet loves attention and happily soaks up all the pets she can get. She's also litter box trained, well-behaved, and gets along wonderfully with other cats in the home. Violet is a delightful kitten who's ready to bring joy, cuddles, and playfulness to her forever family!

Violet is currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY.

Kittens are only adopted in pairs or to homes with other friendly, social pets. They are very social by nature and need to be with other pets for their socialization.

Violet's adoption fee is $200; to adopt a pair of kittens, the combined adoption fee is $325. To adopt this pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the pet you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Louie's Legacy Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
To adopt a pet, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our dogs and cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations (including rabies), microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any medical issues identified during veterinary examinations. Dogs are also heartworm negative and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. The adoption fee helps cover these services and supports our ongoing rescue work. Please note that our pets come from shelters, so we cannot guarantee age, breed, mix of breeds, or adult size. To learn more about adoption fees and the process, please complete our adoption application at https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt . Applications allow us to understand your household and assess whether a pet is a good match. An application does not obligate you to adopt and can be applied to any pet. Due to high demand, not all applicants may be contacted; if your application is a good fit for the pet you’re interested in—or another pet—a volunteer will reach out as soon as possible. As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a shelter location. To see animals in person, please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album and check event times and locations, as not all animals attend every adoption event.
