Meet Vinnie,

This sweet boy is searching for his forever home.
When Vinnie joined the rescue he was a stray from the outdoors, Vinnie is FIV+ which means he has to be adopted into a home with absolutely not other cats, Vinnie is a very sweet gentle boy who loves his cuddles, belly rubs and toys.

Vinnie had a fractured front elbow which was caused by severe damage when he was a stray living on the streets, when he came into the rescue he was seen by our veterinarian which stated the fracture he had was not exactly fixable after many x-rays and causing him very much pain. At first the clinic had possibilities it could have been cancer and to avoid spread and pain the best route was amputation, his leg after surgery was sent to a lab for further testing and observed by many veterinarians which came back negative for cancer. The doctors who tested the leg said either way amputation was the best route to go forward with as he was not able to put any pressure on it.

After Vinnies surgery he became so much happier, confident and more friendlier as he is no longer in pain and loving how his life is now.
Vinnie spends his day in foster care taking lots of bed time naps and playing with many toys, Vinnie is a very vocal cat he tells you when he wants attention and especially when it is feeding time, he is on Royal canine Adult kibble as he enjoys it very much and does best on that brand of food. Vinnie has been learning to use the stairs but is still learning.


Vinnie is vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks as well neutered. Due to Vinnie being categorized as special needs his adoption fee is $175.
