Victrola's Story

Meet Victrola

This dapper little girl arrived at the Sanctuary in June of 2022. She was terrified of people. She came from a colony with her daughters and granddaughters. The males in the colony aggressively fought for mating rights with the females and poor Victrola was stuck in a cycle of continuous pregnancies.

She spent the first few months with us in a foster home. She made little progress. She returned to Sanctuary where our volunteers patiently worked with her. She eventually began to make progress.

Last summer one of our fosters who loves working with the most scared or anti-social cats brought Victrola home to foster. She recently returned Victrola to the Sanctuary to join our main adoption floor.

Although the cat she returned looks like Victrola and the microchips match, she is a completely different cat now. Victrola begs for love and attention. She confidently walks up to any human asking them to adore her.

Victrola is a beautiful loving cat. She adores attention and likes to be brushed. Victrola loves cuddles, but still does not enjoy being picked up. She will tolerate it for a few seconds but anything beyond that she will strongly object. She still has her opinions about certain things and can throw a little spice into her attitude, but shes mostly very relaxed these days.

It has been incredibly rewarding watching this sweet girls evolution. She is now ready to find her forever people. Shes waited long enough for her happily furever after. Is it you?

Please visit our website www.ourfarmsanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.
