She approaches each day as if she has been handed a very important kitten itinerary:<br/><br/>Race through the room<br/>Investigate everything<br/>Pounce on something suspicious<br/>Wrestle a sibling<br/>Repeat until exhausted<br/><br/>Veruca is curious, confident, and constantly on the move. No toy remains untested, no corner goes unexplored, and no sibling is safe from a surprise pounce. She plays with complete commitment until her tiny battery finally reaches zero.<br/><br/>Once Veruca has completed her daily duties as Director of Exploration and Executive Zoomie Coordinator, shes ready to collect her cuddles. She'll seek out her people, settle in for some affection, and briefly transform from a whirlwind into a sweet little snuggle bug.<br/><br/>Briefly.<br/><br/>That battery does recharge.<br/><br/>Veruca would thrive in a busy home with plenty of activity, affection, and playtime. She needs another friendly, playful cat or kitten who can keep up with her energetic schedule—and perhaps help supervise her ongoing investigations.<br/><br/>Veruca is just over 4 months old. She has received her first vaccines and has been treated with topical flea control and dewormed.<br/><br/>Veruca is currently 'Foster to Adopt', which simply means she hasn't been spayed yet—but she can still go home with her loving family now! You can take her home and love on her while she waits for her spay appointment on 9/17/26. Once she's spayed, her adoption will be finalized.<br/><br/>Veruca needs a home with another friendly cat or kitten. Better yet, consider adopting her with one of her brothers, Joe or Augustus, or one of her sisters, Charlie or Violet! Young kittens learn important social and behavioral skills from other cats—and Veruca will need a pouncing partner, racing rival, and reliable witness for her ridiculous kitten adventures.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a curious, cuddly cutie who wants all the playtime, all the adventures, and all the affection—and wants them NOW—Veruca may be your girl!<br/><br/>To meet Veruca, please submit an application.
