Venice

Venice is a sweet, soft-hearted boy who is ready to discover the love and warmth of his very first furrever home. At around 8 months old, he came to us with a large group of semi-feral cats we have come to call the “Vineyard cats” from the island, bringing with him a quiet, hopeful heart. Venice is still quite shy, but he is starting to discover that people can be kind and safe. Each day, he blossoms a little more, revealing his gentle, friendly, and down-to-earth nature. Venice is curious and playful, and while he enjoys joining in on the fun, he is just as content watching the shenanigans of his shelter pals from the sidelines with amusement.<br/><br/>Venice would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home. While a home without children is ideal, he could do well with older children who can respect his boundaries. He is not comfortable with touch just yet, but he is beginning to feel safe sharing his space with those who approach him slowly and softly. Venice is happiest when he has a cat friend close by. He would love to be adopted alongside one of his shelter pals, but if that is not possible, he “MUST” have a cat buddy in his future home to provide friendship, comfort, and confidence.
