Hi... I'm Velvet — a 7-month-old mini panther with the softest, shiniest black coat (I really do live up to my name ).<br/><br/>My story started out a little sad... my owner moved away and left me behind. I didn't understand what was happening, so I went door to door, crying and hoping someone would let me in Thankfully, some kind neighbors helped me get to safety.<br/><br/>Now I'm ready for my real forever home — one where I'll never be left behind again.<br/><br/>I'm really still just a kitten, so I'm playful, curious, and full of love. I'll happily chase toys, explore my world, and then curl up with you for snuggles Although I'm not really a fan of butt pats.<br/><br/>All I've ever wanted is a warm home and someone to love me... could that be you?

Whiskers Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
All of our cats and kittens are tested for FIV and FeLV and receive age-appropriate vaccines. They are spayed/neutered at 4 months of age. Younger kittens come with a voucher (included in their adoption fee) that may be redeemed for a free spay/neuter at Southbury Veterinary Hospital. Approved application and vet reference (or an interview, if you don't have a vet) required to adopt.
