Velvet's Story

Hi. My name is Velvet. I am a young domestic short haired kitty. I have been at the shelter for awhile now, and am hoping to finally get noticed. As the name implies, I am a soft, kind cat. I can get a little over stimulated at times, so I would prefer a calm home who is looking for an adorable addition. Due to this, I don't believe I would do well with children. I have the tiniest "meow" and sometimes a charming snore.. or so I'm told... I was rescued off the streets, and am hoping to finally find my cozy forever home. I do love attention, so I can see myself settling into my new owners lap. I know I will find my forever home, I hope it's soon!! Living in a shelter for half a year is much too long!!
