Velvet's Story
My name is Velvet because of my beautiful shiny coat! My sister, Venus, and I were surrendered to PAWS-OK with 3 other cats by a cat-loving couple who were being threatened with eviction because there were "too many cats". Honestly we five and five others (that PAWS-OK helped get spayed and neutered, is a bit much for a small 1 bedroom apartment! I brought a surprise with me to my foster mom - RINGWORM! All five of us had to be treated with some good tasting medicine and now I am so pretty, all my beautiful fur has grown back. I am known as the 'social butterfly" of my group and love people and cats too. A home with another friendly cat or two would suit me just fine!
