Velvet's Story

Meet Velvet, a 6-week-old Domestic Long Hair black kitten. Velvet was brought to the shelter as a stray and after no one came to claim her she is now up for adoption. Velvet is shy at first but warms up quickly and enjoys head scratches. Velvet has had her first feline distemper shot, but a new owner should follow up with two additional shots in three weeks and six weeks. Velvet has an appointment set for her spay, rabies vaccination and microchip on 01/15/26 at Chino Valley Animal Hospital. Velvet is able to go home with her new owner prior to the appointment, but will need to be kept inside until after her appointment. If you would like to meet Velvet, please give us a call at 928-636-4223, ext. 7.
