Chino Valley Animal Shelter

1950 N Voss Dr.
Chino Valley, AZ 86323

Our Mission

The Chino Valley Animal Shelter (CVAS) is part of the Chino Valley Police Department. It is where dogs are impounded by Chino Valley Animal Control Officers (ACOs). These dogs are usually brought in for being at large or being involved in a bite to a human. To report an animal-at-large or other animal problems please call our Dispatch number at 928-771-3260.

The shelter pursues a no-kill policy. To assist in this policy the shelter does not accept owner-surrendered dogs, dogs not found within the Chino Valley Town limits or any other animals, including cats, as the shelter has very limited space.
