Velvet

Velvet is a beautiful young cat who is equally playful and gentle. Her favorite activities include running with her cat pals, chasing toys, and even running on her cat wheel! Velvet is estimated to be about 1 year old.

While Velvet is a little shy when meeting new people, her personality begins to shine in calm environments. Once she feels safe, she's happy to curl up beside you on the couch for gentle pets. She isn't the type of cat who demands attention, and would be well-suited for a home who would like a chill, independent companion.

Velvet loves other cats and would thrive in a home with a confident feline friend who can help her feel at ease. While she would love to be adopted with her sister, Cashmere, it's not a requirement. Overall, Velvet is looking for a calmer environment; she does well with dogs who mostly ignore her and would prefer older children.

Velvet is fully vetted: spayed, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped.
If you are interested in adopting Velvet, please submit an application at tgspca.org/cat-application

Our fosters are located in south central Kentucky, but we welcome out of state adopters and can work with families on transportation.
