Meet Velvet!<br/><br/>This sweet 7-month-old girl was one of four kittens rescued from a warehouse in New Brunswick, NJ, thanks to a devoted caretaker who worked at the company. Velvet, her siblings, and her mom were cared for and showered with love every day by a warehouse employee. They kept him company while he worked, often climbing onto his shoulders and lap for cuddles. Once they were weaned, their devoted rescuer knew it was time to find them safer environments where they could continue to thrive and find loving forever homes.<br/><br/>Velvet has grown into an incredibly affectionate and loving cat. She absolutely enjoys playtime, but what she may love most is being close to her people. She is friendly, confident, and not shy at all — and she may even surprise you by occasionally grooming your face.<br/><br/>Velvet is already between 7 and 8 lbs and still growing, so this little girl may have a bit more growing to do. <br/><br/>Velvet has also done well with other cats who aren't part of her family, so she can happily share a home with a compatible feline friend.
