Velosha's Story

Velosha has been an absolute favorite in her foster home, where she quickly earned a reputation as an incredibly loving and devoted companion. According to her foster, Velosha's favorite place to be is right next to her person. Every night she happily slept curled up beside her foster, quietly getting up for a late-night snack or litter box break without ever disturbing anyone. Gentle, friendly, and wonderfully affectionate, she welcomes attention, happily soaks up kisses and cuddles, and has never shown any signs of scratching or biting. Her foster describes her as the kind of cat who makes you feel special simply by choosing to be near you.

Velosha has also impressed her foster with how wonderfully she interacts with dogs, happily rubbing against them and even trying to play. She has done well with children, and while her experience with other cats is unknown, her easygoing personality suggests she may do well with proper introductions. She isn't shy about letting you know when she'd rather be with her people and is known to provide an adorable early-morning reminder when it's time for breakfast! Her foster says Velosha is one of the sweetest black cats they've ever met and knows she'll make an incredible addition to a lucky family looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend.

Please visit www.sfcva.org to fill out an adoption application.
