Velcro's Story

Velcro earned her name the day she arrived in rescue. This tiny girl was found covered in burrs from head to toe, but these days the only thing she sticks to is her favorite people.

Don't let her size fool you—Velcro may have been the only girl in her foster home, but she had no problem keeping all the boys in line. Confident, fearless, and always ready for her next adventure, she's the kind of kitten who believes every toy needs to be conquered and every corner of the house deserves to be explored.

Velcro had a rough start in life, arriving in rescue incredibly sick, but she's made an amazing comeback and is absolutely thriving. Today she's a healthy, energetic little firecracker who loves to play, wrestle with her feline friends, and investigate everything around her.

As independent as she can seem, Velcro has an incredibly sweet side too. The moment you pick her up, the purring starts and doesn't stop. She's happiest with other cats, gets along great with dogs, and while she hasn't met children yet, we think shed absolutely adore a family with respectful kids who are ready for endless kitten fun.

If you're looking for a kitten who's equal parts fearless explorer, playful troublemaker, and professional cuddle bug, Velcro is ready to stick around forever.

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--depending upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Velcro, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt.

Kitty CrusAIDe's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, de-wormed, and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 for a single kitten and $225 for a pair of kittens. If you find a feline friend that you'd be interested in learning more about please visit our website at www.kittycrusaide.org to submit an application. All of our animals are in private foster homes so our adoption process is 100% online. First your application will be screened and a short 15-20 minute phone interview will take place. Then one or several virtual meet & greets will be set up to introduce you to kittens that you're interested in and we feel may be a good fit for your home. A virtual home check will take place before bringing your kitten(s) home to ensure everything is safe and set-up for them. Finally, you'll bring home your new best friend! Our cats/kittens are not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal.
